Some of our good friends came down to take part in our first Inspired Session last weekend. “What in the world is an Inspired Session,” you ask. It is our new take on same old “go to the park and sit on the bench together” traditional engagement session. The idea is that you give us an idea, photo or thought that inspires or interests you and we create a photoshoot around it. Our hope is to give you photos that are unique and artistic; something so fun and different that you may never have the opportunity to be part of again…unless you’re a model or actress, of course. We want you to feel and look like a rockstar, or a princess if that is what inspires you.
The inspiration for Kristy and Andy’s shoot was a bright red 69 Camaro. It was so fun coming up with the ideas for this shoot. We went with kind of a punk rock look with her GORGEOUS Alexander Wang dress and Andy’s leather jacket. It was absolutely freezing when the session day came but Kristy was a goose-bump-covered-trooper! We tried to keep one of them in the heated car while the other was in the Camaro for most of the shoot just so they didn’t get too cold. When Kristy’s lips turned purple we decided to cut the car shoot short and head inside to do some studio photos in their other outfit. It was fun (and challenging) to come up with creative and cute ideas with a plain white background.
A special thanks to my brother Chad for letting me borrow his ridonkulously awesome car!

We’re a husband and wife photography team based in Nashville, Tennessee. Often labeled as Nomads by our friends and family, we love to travel and are available for weddings worldwide.
I love the one of their feet sticking out of the car.
These are so fun!
