Laughing, shooting, laughing during shooting, crying and shooting, laughing…this pretty much sums up how my day went with David and Danielle.
Gorgeous bride, sweet new friend, Danielle was the picture of perfection on her wedding day. As she prepared to walk down the isle she was laughing and breakin’ down the hallway in a little jig with her bridesmaids. Meanwhile, David was in the back bent over laughing as his groomsmen were helping him plan out his big moment – the kiss.
The wedding was emotional, traditional and beautiful (I cried like a wee baby and Will laughed at me while wiping my tears). At the reception, it was officially time to cut loose and boogie. I don’t think David or Danielle left the dance floor the entire evening. They were the life of the party, completely beaming from ear to ear throughout the night. Their first dance was to “Crazy Love” by Van Morrison. The lyrics could not have been more fitting for these two who are always smiling, always laughing.
“And the heavens open every time she smiles, And when I come to her that’s where I belong.”
Will slipped away to photograph the guys while I was at the salon with the girls.
Danielle collects cameos. This beautiful one was her grandmothers.
A big gust of wind came right when we took the photo and blew her veil over her head.
Danielle’s brothers are all Marines.
They did the hovering shot perfectly…
Until the landing…that’s a big 1 foot drop! haha
This is where I got a bit misty.
Grandma was so proud.
