Melissa and Mitch’s story is one that makes you believe in fate: Melissa designs kitchens as her job. She met a lady in her design showroom, and headed out to measure her kitchen. They started chatting and laughing, and pretty much forgot why she was there in the first place. As Melissa left her client’s house, she thought to herself, “If I could choose, I’d choose her as a mother-in-law.” It seems that the client was thinking something similar; soon after, the client was telling her son about this sweet girl she met, and how a girl like her would be perfect for him. The client put her project on hold and Melissa planned to call her later, forgetting about all of the little details. Neither Melissa, the client, or the son thought anything else about it until Melissa and Mitch met three months later. Once she heard Mitch’s last name, Melissa put two-and-two
For their session, Melissa thought it would be fun to go with a cooking inspiration since they love to cook together. They made cookies..and Will and I ate them. Afterwards, we headed out for a little picnic and wine by the river. It turned out super cute and was a blast to photograph! Thanks for putting up with my squeaky voice for a few hours! Can’t wait till the big day!
